Social Engagement Through Soccer 

In Lugazi, Uganda, many children and young people live in extreme poverty. With the help of small donations and gifts, organizations work to ensure that these children have basic needs such as food, clothing and access to activities that contribute to a richer life.

Save Omwana Africa, runs an organized soccer activity with trained leaders, welcoming all children. As the organization is grewthey started to experience shortages of soccer balls and soccer shoes. Kista Sports Club, reached out to support Save Omwana Africa by initiating a campaign via Target Aid to raise funds for the necessary equipment. 

While making many young soccer fans in Uganda very happy, Kista Sports Club also showed their young members the importance of social engagement and value-based culture.
