Inspiration - Fundraisers
How to reach your target with Target Aid! – Where Do I start?
You want to fundraise? Great!. At Target Aid we are here to help you with every step of your journey, regardless of whether you have a birthday fundraiser with your favorite organization, you are a club in need of a new clubhouse or an NGO with projects in every corner of the world! Here are a few tips on what you can do to make your fundraising a success:
1. Create goals
Make your goal clear and concise, this will help both you and your donors. Creating subgoals is a quick and effective way of communicating clarity to your donors and it also creates a sense of engagement. The clearer your goals are, the easier it is to measure your success.. At Target Aid, you can create your goals individually, or with the help of one of our colleagues.
2. Share, share, share!
In the modern world, social media is your best tool. However, they can be difficult to understand and every site has their own algorithms deciding what should and should not be seen. The key is: engagement! Share your fundraiser on your social media of choice and encourage your friends and family to do the same! Every like, comment and share increase your fundraising’s reach. The more eyes on your project, the likelier it is that someone will donate.
3. Cover all channels
Wherever there are people, there will be someone sympathetic to your cause. For clubs and organizations with their own websites, this could mean making use of the widget-function. For individuals, this may mean marketing on other social medias as well. Even real life could count as a channel: talking with friends or marketing at your club! 4. Be creative
You don’t need to be online to succeed. There are many ideas that can make you stand out from the crowd. You can hold a BBQ-event, or maybe an auction, or maybe even a marathon. We are more than willing to provide you with the inspiration you need for your fundraiser – book a meeting with the support team or read our case studies for more ideas information.
